Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between Maria Wächter, Spadenländer Hauptdeich 37, 21037 Hamburg, acting under the name Alster Asana, and consumers (§ 13 BGB), concluded via the website or through personal agreement.

2. Offer and Conclusion of Contract

(1) The services displayed on the website do not constitute a legally binding offer.

(2) A binding contract is concluded once the booking is confirmed in writing or electronically by the provider.

3. Services

(1) Individual yoga sessions (solo or for two people) are offered either in person in Hamburg (on-site) or online via Zoom.
‍
(2) A yoga mat is provided for on-site sessions.
‍
(3) The sessions are intended for adults and, if physically suitable, also for teenagers aged 16 and above. Sessions for minors under 16 are only possible with prior agreement.

4. Appointment Booking and Cancellation

(1) All scheduled sessions are binding.
‍
(2) A cancellation free of charge is possible up to 48 hours before the agreed appointment.
‍
(3) For later cancellations or no-shows, the full session fee will be charged.
‍
(4) Refunds within the cancellation period will be issued via the original payment method.
‍
(5) The provider reserves the right to reschedule or cancel sessions for important reasons (e.g. illness or force majeure). In such cases, an alternative date will be offered.
‍
(6) Booked sessions can be transferred to another person if communicated at least 48 hours in advance.

5. Payment Terms

(1) The initial booking must be paid online via Stripe (credit card, Apple Pay, etc.).
‍
(2) Follow-up sessions may be paid in cash on-site or by bank transfer upon receipt of an invoice.
‍
(3) Participation is only possible after prior or agreed payment.

6. Travel and Service Area

(1) On-site sessions are offered exclusively within postal code areas 20000 to 22999 (Hamburg city area).
‍
(2) Appointments outside this area are subject to individual agreement and may be declined or offered at an additional charge.

7. Liability

(1) Participation in all sessions is at the participant’s own risk.
‍
(2) It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they are physically fit for yoga practice, and to seek medical advice if necessary.
‍
(3) The provider is not liable for injuries or health issues resulting from improper execution or failure to disclose medical conditions.

8. Data Protection

Personal data will be processed in accordance with the privacy policy available on the website.

9. Online Sessions

(1) Online sessions are conducted via Zoom.
‍
(2) No video or audio recordings are made.

10. Final Provisions

(1) German law applies.
‍
(2) Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
